Dinner With Friends is a heartfelt drama and feels very of-the-moment for Millennial professionals.
However, the decision to sidestep a substantive engagement with class, race or nearly anything political (aside from queer vs. straight relationship dynamics) feels like a missed opportunity to engage with the urgency of today.
