From the moment Hillary Yaas storms on stage with Blinkie the Fish earrings, platform shoes, and overdrawn pearly pink lips yelling frantically for Selena Vyle, there’s no doubt we’re in for campy chaos.

The premise is simple: Yaas and Vyle bring the wardrobes, puppets, and ukulele, the audience brings a title, genre, beginning and end locations, and the rest is improvisational magic as only seasoned drag queens can bring.

In the opening night show, they took what could have been a straightforward young adult love story on the most circuitous and surreal path possible, from an ice cream stand to prom without losing the plot. It was a joy to watch every twist and turn.

If you enjoy drag or improv, see where these fabulous comedy queens go!
