Everyone’s favourite tech bro and thought leader Santosh Santosh — that’s “San-tOHsh,” not “San-tush” or “San-tits” — is back to record the 200th episode of his almost-popular podcast, Secondhand Success, at this year’s Grind-Con.
Sabu’s sense of humour in this show is as whimsical as it is dark (viewers can expect pantomimed sexy times with a Tesla), while her message about racism in the tech sector is crystal clear.
Instead of taking easy shots at tech bros like Santosh, Sabu has him reckon with the systemic racism in the sector. The head of his favourite tech company salutes like a Nazi, is responsible for turning a beloved social media platform into an army of white supremacists, and has played a large role in undermining DEI. In a heartfelt soliloquy, Santosh shares how these things contribute to his insecurities, and explains his need to speak with a “normal” Canadian accent.
As Santosh, Sabu serves up an unadulterated dose of drag clowning joy.
