A city that’s always on the go needs a restaurant to match its energy. These 24-hour spots in Toronto do just that — feeding hungry diners at an affordable price at all hours of the night.

7 West Café

(7 Charles St W, by Yonge & Bloor)

Beside a bustling intersection lies this cozy café. A favourite among students and locals alike, 7 West is the perfect spot for pancakes, pastries or their $12 big breakfast special.

T.O Dickens Restaurant

(276 Augusta Ave.)

Located in the heart of Kensington Market, T.O Dickens is one of the city’s newest 24-hour spots, opening their doors in 2023. Known for their pasta dishes.

Vesta Lunch

(474 Dupont St., corner of Bathurst)

A no-frills diner located on Dupont, Vesta Lunch serves comfort food favourites like gyro pita wraps and lots more, now including Latin American dishes. The retro interior hasn’t really changed since they opened in 1955.

Owl of Minerva

(5324 Yonge St., North York)

The Owl of Minerva is the go-to spot for Korean food after a late night karaoke session or a night out on the town. The pork bone soup is a classic. Only the North York location is 24h, but the Koreatown location (700 Bloor St. W.) is open til 6:30 a.m., which is pretty good too.

Fran’s Diner

(200 Victoria St., near Yonge & Dundas)

Fran’s Diner located on Victoria Ave. is their 24h location. (The College location does takeout but not dine-in all night.) It’s a Toronto cult classic with memorabilia and decor dedicated to the city’s history. You can’t go wrong ordering a burger and fries, or sipping on bottomless coffee and maybe digging into a slice of pie.
