    Though Palestinian Christians are descendants of one of the oldest Christian communities on earth, this community is often misunderstood. Some people I meet in the GTA are surprised when they find out I am both Palestinian and Christian. Similarly, others are surprised to learn that there have been prominent Christian Zionists in Canada even before the 1948 Nakba (catastrophe) and the formation of Israel.
